Hey ladies! I'm new here. I am hoping for some advice or even reassurance. My hubby and I have decided to start TTC again. I am still bf'ing and really want to until my dd decides to wean. She is 10 months old and I haven't had a visit from AF since I had her. I see a few people who have gotten pregnant without AF, is it likely??

My husband is deploying in July/August so we don't have much time to actually try. I know a lot of people will probably think we are nuts for TTC to before he leaves but it's just really something that we both have decided we want to do. So I guess I am wondering if there is anything special I can do?? Or ways to increase to increase the odds of pregnancy?

It's really hard to say. After 6 months post partum, there's a higher chance that you'll ovulate before you get your first post partum period - but there's no guarantee about when that will happen. Some women don't get their fertility back until after they wean, and some of us get it back in spite of nursing around the clock. Everybody is different. Other than weaning, there isn't really anything you can do to make your fertility come back.
