Im just in need of some advice. I exclusively BF my 10 month old DS, my cycles have been every 31 days since March. Is it safe to say that Im ovulating every month?
Im ready to start tacking my ovulation with ovulation kits and i also check my CM. I will be doing my IUI in Sept/Early Oct. My DR. strongly suggests that I wean my DS because my IUI's are so much money and he wants me to have success but my heart says that if I'm having a regular cycle and can see my LH surge I should be ok? Agree? Thank you!

Regular bleeding doesn't automatically indicate that you're ovulating. You can have bleeding when your body attempts ovulation (breakthrough bleeding), even if it's unsuccessful. You can also have bleeding after your body has an unsuccessful (withdrawal bleeding). I've worked with NFP clients who had very regular bleeding, but no ovulation in between the bleeds.

With my first I had AF back by the time he was 2 months old, but it was a long time before my fertility actually returned. We TTC for almost 6 months before I was able to get pregnant.

when you say exclusivley feeding, do you mean that he is recieving only breastmilk, no solids? (usually what exclusivley BF means) Theres a very good chance you are ovulating but like the other girls said, its not a 100% garantee.

Im assuming that being the end of October, youve already done the IUI so I hope everythings going well so far
