Hello Ladies - Question regarding BBT/Charting temps., etc.

My DD just turned 1 and we are TTC # 2. I have been charting my temp since 11/18 - it has been all over the place, but for the most part between 96.9 and 97.3. I was feeling crampy, like PMS, from 11/29 through 12/13. I have heard that sometimes this is the body's way of preparing for the return of AF. I had CM from 12/05 through 12/13 - however, I will be honest and say I could not tell whether it was regular M or EW.

For the past couple days my temp has been elevated to 97.9 - maybe pregnant??????

What is everyone's opinion? How long should I wait before I take a preg. test - at least 10 days from the time I think we conceived? What about using a preg. test like First Response, where it can detect a positive preg. 5 days before the missed period?

Thanks Ladies.

Do you have a link to your chart online? It's easier if we can see what's going on rather than imagining it. Also, I was unclear.. have you had your first PP AF yet?

It sounds like you may have just ovulated in the past few days. Did you get a clear temp spike? You should wait 12 days after ovulation before taking a pg test. It's possible to get a positive around 9-10 dpo but not too common!

Actually Lindsey - I do NOT have a chart online - I just use a spreadsheet in MS Excel to chart my temps. How do I go about creating a chart online?

I apologize if I was not clear - I have NOT had my first PP AF, do you still think I could have O'd?

If you go to fertilityfriend.com you can set up a free chart online. Once you've got all your data put in, look for the "sharing" menu on the left.. and go to "Home Page Setup." It will give you a URL you can use to link us to your chart
