My DD is 9 months and although we are not TTC but We are not preventing. The last few days I have felt very tired, I have not had a period. I tested this am and it was neg. But since I have not had a period I have nothing to go by. Just wondering if anyone has become preggo before they got their period

Its very possible to get pg before your first period. You would ovulate before your period came anyway. well you COULD, you could have a period and not ovulate as well.

I say take another test in a week or 2 from the last time you tested, you would know for sure then.

Just popping in here but I got pregnant with my second son before I ever got a period back after having my first son. My first was 10 months old when we conceived our second so it's entirely possible--even though I was told it was not common to happen which was why we weren't as careful as we should have been.

I am new here so I was never a part of the TTC and breastfeeding forum - because I'm pregnant now! We caught my first pp egg, at 16 months. So it is possible. I have read that the longer you go without AF the more likely you are to have a good, strong ovulation kellymom has good resources on fertility while breastfeeding. GL I hope you get the result you are hoping for

I'm another one! I conceived Joseph when Daniel was 18 months and still nursing, w/o any period in between. The PP is correct to say that the longer you go without a period, the more likely this is to happen. Even so, it is statistically only a 6% or less chance!
