I don't do Clomid, but I do get Prometrium (an Rx progesterone in pill form) in order to stay pg. I have LPD, and that was the cause of my 2 losses between Rachel and Michaela. I took Prometrium with Michaela and Alyssa in order to keep them. My LP's are still short, so I'll be going back to the RE soon to get that.

My LP has gone from 12 days down to 10 days after last loss at 17w pg and that's one the reason for clomid to help me O sooner and to lengthen LP.

My LP's are 10 days too. I have been charting for almost a year. I think when it comes time to officially ttc, I am going to go see what my dr says about clomid too.

Serena, When I was on clomid with baby #7 my LP went from 12 to 15/16 days so it should do the trick for you. I was on clomid then because I had late and poor Oing.

Only 2 months 2 weeks to go!!!!

10 days is "long" for me. Mine range from 7 days to 10 days. I get an occasional 11. ONE time I had a FIVE (yes, you read that right, 5) day LP! We were up visiting San Fran with my sister (we lived in CA at the time), and I was NOT prepared with "stuff" b/c I wasn't expecting to have a 5 day LP. lol Most of the time they are 8 days.

I'm on Clomid this cycle. My LP is short too. The shortest being 8 days. Normal is about 10. I've been using progesterone cream and that has lengthened it to 14 days. The OB told me not to use it, that if I got my BFP to call them and they'd prescribe something then, but I don't see how that helps... if my LP is so short, the egg can't implant!!

I started Clomid this cycle, and I too am praying for twins. The RE stressed to me that because I was ovulating on my own and we did the Clomid on 3-7 instead of 5-9 that the risk of twins was even higher. And we stressed to him that was a good thing because we really want twins! I'm on CD 13 now and waiting for a + OPK
