You know... 6 months ago when I didn't get my sticky bean during R&R (yes, this is a new nick, it seems I lost my old one during the whole hacking thing or something) I *swore* I was done having children forever, that I would just be happy with what I have. Well, then I hear that two of my sisters are pregnant so I decide... well maybe one more. Then I come here and read all the stories about all the LARGE families and think... I want that (not sure if dh does or not LOL). DH is not open to adoption (I think he's worried he wouldn't love that child as much as his biological children... which he feels wouldn't be fair to the adopted child... but he's loved my children as much as his babies since day one).

So... for those of you with large families... did you ALWAYS know you were going to have that many children, or was it sort of a "one more time" with each kid and before you knew it your family had absolutely blossomed into a huge garden rather than a windowsill pot? lol

I knew from an early age on that I wanted a large family. 8 was the magic number for me. I loved having all my brothers and sisters (13 of us) but I didn't love them all of the time.

I thought I was done when I had Kaitlynn and even having her was pushing it a little, but then Travis came around and I'm still praying for a sixth. (secretly wanting twins) WE are much better off now than when Kaitlynn was born, so no worries.

I always wanted a lot of kids. But, after I had Natalie, I thought we were done. But, about a year ago, we decided to have one more. I'm pretty sure we'll be done at 5.

i come from a family of 7 and when i was younger (age 12 thru 14) said i didnt want any kids because i always watched or had one of my sisters or brothers kids all the time and said i wouldnt have my own because i was sick of watching theirs all the time then when i had my first child i knew i wanted a big family like the one i came from so here i am today expecting num 6 however due to medical issues unfortunately this will be my last one but if i could continue i would so my plan for the future is to adopt

It was always just one more for me. I always thought I would have 4.

well we've never had a # that we wanted to get to. for dh it was always however many God blessed us with, that I was willing to have. me, I've always liked the idea of large family so more the merrier to me. when I start getting baby fever, it does start w/the words "just one more" in my mind.
