Has anyone else on here had this condition? It means that my cervix is irritated and bleeds easily. I was googling it yesterday, as my doc just told me I have it and that is why I have been randomly spotting since being PP and why I bleed after sex, and it is linked to STDs (not a possibility for me) and cervical cancer. It said that people at a higher risk for cervical cancer are women who have had many children and that a friable cervix was a symptom of cancer. I got a pap done and it can be up to 6 weeks before I have the results back. I am hoping that the friable cervix is just linked to being postpartum with my fourth kiddo - I just had him a little over 3 months ago. Has anyone ever had a friable cervix?

No, though I used to have some similar issues and mine was due to endometriosis. I hope you get some good news hon!

My sister has the same issue, just spots for no reason. She had her pap done and there is nothing wrong, just a weaker cervix after delivery. He Dr said it will go away on it's own. She has to get checked more often but there is nothing wrong with that I don't think.
