I'm doing Clomid. This will be our 3rd cycle.

This cycle, my Dr. wants me to take it days 5-9, but I'm not quite sure why. I ovulate doing days 3-7 (around CD 18/19). Perhaps he is trying to get a better quality egg?

I'm tempted to do days 3-7 again (shhhhh....don't tell my Doctor......) Today is day 3, so the decision needs to be made by tonight!

Hope AF shows for you soon so you can get started on your cycle!

This will be be my 3rd cycle with clomid as well I did 100 mg cd 5 to 9 in Oct/nov for the c,omid challange and unexpectidly got a BFP!
I m/ced at about 5w.

I then did clomid cd 2 to 6 and BFN. I took this cycle I am off to help reset my body and allow it to rest before I seen RE. I was not sure if we doing clomid again or injects next cycle. We settled on clomid one more time. I wanted that as she wanted to do injects right away.

I dont know about the whole quality thing.. my RE says nothing can help improve quality. I Oed fine on Clomid cd 2 to 6, cd 3 to 7, and cd 5 to 9 I got pg both a 3 to 7 cycle and a cd 5 to 9..so who knows LOL

This will be my 8 or 9th round all together I have one clomid baby( age 3) and also m/ced 24 months ago on a clomid cycle.

Good luck on your choice KUP!!

Are you getting u/s to check follies and lineing thickness?

I think I am this time since it is a IUI. I NEVER had a u/s before on clomid so I have no clue what it does for me lol

How funny, I also have a 3 year old from Clomid! I'm sorry to hear of your losses. Each and every loss is so hard.

No, we are not having any ultrasounds, but I wish we were. My Gyn is the one who is prescribing the Clomid, and he doesn't do u/s or IUI's. If Clomid does not work, he would send us on to an RE. Our insurance no longer covers any IF treatment, so we will need to stop if we get to that point. I have considered trying to get into an RE just to get an IUI and paying for it out of pocket. I wonder if that can be done?

Oh, I decided to go with days 3-7. Took my first dose last night, and ordered some OPK's and PreSeed too!

Ohh good luck I too use pre seed.

We are paying out of pocket for the IUI and everything. Medical here covers all testing and diagnosis as well any treatment for fixing a problem just not meds or acual IUI or IVF.

I am hoping clomid is not going to be in our future BUT if it is, I have some wonderful ladies here to talk to about it.
