I am curious to know what vehicle you use to accomodate your large family. When DH and I start trying for number 5 I believe it will be too cramped in our 7 passenger mini van (Nissan Quest), so what should we upgrade to for more room??? I am in desperate need of help here as I am having trouble finding anything roomy enough online. Thanks!

Right now I have a chevy cobalt and SO has a ford f-150 crew cab. But as soon as I get preggers we are going to upgrade from my cobalt to a Chevy Traverse. Since it will only be #2 for us Im really no help...my uncle has a huge dodge van though (he is in a band and they use it to tour) its a 13 or 15 passenger I cant remember. SO says if we get to more than 6 kids then we are getting one of those lol.

Right now we have a Saturn Vue. seats all of us nicely. We also have a Saturn Outlook that seats 8. It also seats all of us nicely however its got a very small space for groceries if all seats are up. no room for a stroller which at this point in time I still need, if all seats are up. If the kids were all older and I was no longer TTC it would be alright. I sometimes wish we would have gone with the Outlook that seats 7 because the captians chairs in the middle would seem to give us more leg room back there and getting in and out would be easier. Its the carseats that are the problems with the outlook.

We have 7 seat van and right now I use 2 car seats and 2 high back booster seats, when this baby comes we will have oldest without any booster seat, so we all will still fit in our 7 seat van (we have Montana)

We still do the 2 vehicle route. I have a Chevy Trailblazer (<3) that seats 5 and then John has the pos bonneville. We are looking at upgrading in the future but it seems to work for us since there are so many places everyone needs to be.

Cheyenne always rides shotgun with me, Kaitlynn is always in the middle of the back seat and Jeramiah and Travis on either side of her. Anthony HAS to ride with John. He is in the phase, "I hate girls, I hate my sisters, I ain't riding with them", that and he can talk to John about boy stuff if he needs to.

Every now and then if John makes me mad, I send him to the mall with the girls. In his car. They hate his car.

ohh I love this thread. I am still looking into what I need ot buy since i need something that is going to take 4 carseats, 2 infant, 1 toddler, and one booster. Plus I need it to take a double stroller and all our other necessities such as groceries. Nice to see what larger size vans others are using.
