Hi, My name is angela. I have 9 kids and am getting ready to ttc another one coming up this fall (probably in Sept or Oct). My youngest one is 7 months old right now and is breastfeeding and my cycles are not regular so I'm not sure how easy/difficult conception will be.
My reason for having this many children is a little bit odd. One of my children has a rare bone marrow disease and though he is currently in remission (thank God) he may one day relapse and require a bone marrow transplant. If he does, I want him to have a sibling donor. That being said, I wanted a big family anyhow and had planned on five or six before this happened (he was diagnosed just weeks after number five was born). Although the reason we have expanded our family thus far is a bit different and controversial, we LOVE and adore each member of our family and I just couldn't imagine life without any of them. So far we have
Drew-almost 14
Emanuel-12
Brandon-9
Jackson-7
Brice-4
Isaiah and Alexandria (twins)-2
Sydney-1
Bree-7 months

I'd love to join you ladies. I've lurked somewhat a while back and you seem to be a great group!

angela

Welcome!! Sorry to hear about your child's health issues. I wish you all the best....I've only been on JM for about a week. I also like to go on "ttc" and "am i pregnant" boards. Stop by there too! GL with ttc and best of wishes to your family.
