I had our last baby at a birthing center (free standing) the only one around for MILES...well the doctor (which also happens to be our family doctor) is leaving the center so that she can spend more time with family (understandable) and is only keeping the family practice....well nobody else has applied for the job apparently and I just got wind that THEY ARE CLOSING. I'm terrified! I'm not trying but not preventing but I WILL NOT have another hospital birth....I guess now more than ever I need to research homebirth!!! UGH!!!! I'm sad!

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

That's terrible news. I'm so sorry to hear that, Martha. Are there midwives in your area that perform homebirths or is that what you are needing to research?

Yeah...there are MW that do homebirths...and it IS legal now in MO for them to perform a homebirth without a doctor present...BUT Dh probably wont agree to it....So I'm praying for two things...ONE: That if we get preggo he'll eventually come around to the idea or TWO: we end up pregnant with twins where I dont *think* I'd chance a homebirth....but would instead go through the loops to find a doctor willing to let me have a natural in the hospital birth so that IF something happened...i'd be there..lol

We hired our midwife from the US and we're in Canada. She travels all over for homebirths.
