I'm going to buy a BBT thermometer today, digital of course, at Walmart if they have them. I've decided to break down and go ahead and get one rather than use the digitals we have. I'm not sure that I trust them right now. They're giving me different temperatures and I'd rather just buy a new BBT thermometer than replace the batteries and hope that's enough. I've never really looked at them, and I'm not sure what my store even has, but I've heard mention of different features. What do you think I should look for?

I personally prefer the vicks ones. I've tried 3 other kinds and the vicks ones have a soft and bendy arm which doesnt hurt my teeth if my mouth is closed around it.

I hadn't even thought of that. I'd only ever seen baby bendy digital thermometers. You know, the little tiny ones for under their arms. It would certainly be easier than a hard plastic stick!

Which one did you end up getting?

A Mibus (I think that's what it's called) digital oral basil thermometer. It was actually the only one our Walmart had and the other stores are over 30 minutes away. It only remembers one temp and doesn't light up or anything fancy like that. It does beep when it's done though and reads far more accurately. I'm wondering what my post-AF pre-O temps will look like now that I have a good thermometer!
