Hubby and I will be TTC again in the next couple of weeks and I'm looking forward to charting again. I currently have a Mirena IUD that I'll be having removed May 8th and then AF should start anywhere between May 17th and 19th. Unfortunately, hubby will be in Air Force Officer Training so we won't be able to actually TTC until July or August-ish.

The plan is for me to start charting as soon as my IUD is removed so that I can get back in the swing of things by the time we can actually see each other. We have one daughter (Lily, 15 months) and are going to try and time things for a boy this time around. I also have ovulatory cysts and PCOS, so it should be fun to see how all of that affects my cycles.

I've used TCOYF in the past and LOVED it. It was actually kinda fun to dig out my BBT and box of alcohol swabs again.

welcome! You know I am so excited for you!

Shauna, I think the alcohol swabs are for cleaning the BBT, at least that is what I have heard them used for

Hope your cycles regulate out nicely soon after having your Mirena removed. Just out of curiousity, have you been having periods while the Mirena's been inserted?

@ ShawnaCAN: Yep, I temp vaginally so I use the alcohol swabs to wipe down the BBT after each temp.

@ Jennifer-in-Italy: Hey, girl!! I am sooo excited, too!

@ sjkduke: Yes, I've been ovulating regularly and having regular periods while the Mirena has been inserted. My cycles are virtually the same as when I was charting to avoid, I just haven't been charting and use the Mirena as birth control instead.

Fifi! HI!! *huggles*

Do you know that I now say huggles to Lily all the time? It's so cute because I'll say "Give huggles!" and she'll run right over and hug the daylights out of me!
