Hello there,

I am not sure it is uterine...I think it is intestinal...

but does anybody else out there have painless contractions that get really tight...but not painful right before AF? oh, the IUD can cause contractions...but I have never had an IUD...

if you have? do you know what causes it???

I am 9 dpo..but truthfully I have been having wierd contraction like things going on since March...an ultrasound revealed all was normal...

My pre-AF cramps are not painful, more just a tightening feeling.

Now during AF they're very very painful.

I have never experienced this before...my pre-Af cramps are very painful..and feel nothing like my whole uterus is hardening..they feel like sharp stabs, with a dull back ache and left ovarian pain.

That's kind of like what I get during AF. I wish I could say something to help.
