Sorry I haven't been around much girls...I'm trying to catch up, but I probably won't be able to until this weekend. DH and I were out of town this weekend for a baby shower and a concert, and then we're emptying our house because we're getting new carpet tomorrow. I'll try to do some catching up on all of you this weekend!

Hey, we need more of an update than that! How are you feeling? How is Miss Parker growing? Any guesses on when you will deliver?

Well, honestly...I feel like doo-doo! I've been on "modified" bed rest for 4 weeks now for pre-term labor. Mentally, I'm so much happier now that I'm out of work--I actually have time to focus on Parker and prepare for everything. We have had two showers already, and pretty much have everything we need now for her! We're getting new carpet Thursday, and then next week we'll be picking up the furniture we ordered for her room. At that point, I'll be able to start washing everything and setting up things...at a slow pace of course!

We had another u/s last week, because she had been measuring very small, almost IUGR(growth restricted), and she had some fluid around her kidneys that needed to be watched. All of that was resolved!! YAY! She went from the 14th percentile in growth to the 38th percentile! All those protein shakes and rest did her well, I suppose! I had been pretty upset about it...you know, I'm a bad mother and all that, so I felt a lot better when she had gained some body mass. We got to see a full head of hair on the u/s, and she's measuring roughly 4 and a half pounds. I've only gained about 22 pounds..YAY!

I get to go back to seeing my midwife(who I was working for before I went out) next week. I had been follow by my doctor because of all the pre-term labor junk...so I'm excited to be back to her. We have talked induction...but I'm not sure. At this point, I'm hoping in the next couple of weeks to at least dilate a cm, because then at 37 weeks, my midwife could strip my membranes to try to speed things up a bit. I'm definitely hoping she'll be here before her due date--I can't imagine being pregnant for another month and a half! Ahhhh!!! My family is hoping for Memorial Day weekend, so they can stay longer with us! LOL!

I know I'm getting close to the end, I have all the "fun" stuff now. I can't wear my wedding rings, my feet and ankles are HUGE, the heartburn/reflux is horrible. But all of that is *somewhat* forgotten when she moves and punches me and has hiccups. I just can't wait to meet her! :wuv:

I'll have to post some pics when we get the office set back up...of her room, the showers and such. Thanks for asking Jennifer! :wuv: I was cleaning out one of my closets today and found all of my old charting stuff...it made me chuckle--I was so obsessed with it this time last year!

Thanks girls! We got our carpet installed yesterday, and so now I'm very very slowly bringing in all the gifts from our baby showers...and starting to organize everything. I've got roughly half of the clothes in the closet arranged according to size, and then everything that will go into the dressers in rubbermaid keepers. All the diapers and wipes are stacked according to size as well....just waiting to get our nursery furniture Monday!! DH's family will come next weekend to help us put it together.

Does it sound like I've been nesting at all? I'm doing very good about resting every couple of minutes though...gives me some time to catch up on you ladies here on JM!
