How did you first hear or learn about charting?

I saw it mentioned on the TTC board and started looking into it. Boy has it made my cycles less stressful! 28-39 day cycles without charting is for the birds!

Saw it here and thought I'd try it when I came off BCP to see if my body "worked"

How did you first hear or learn about charting?[/b]

My Mom was the first I think. She explained CM very basically when we talked about puberty and AF, so I wouldn't think there was something wrong if I saw CM. I heard about it more in depth in high school and before we got married we took our first charting class.

I learned about it here. Everyone keeps telling "oh, that must be so hard" I say what???? You just need to pop a thermometer in your mouth every morning and put your temperature into the computer. Not even 5 minutes and you are done. (I guess it's harder if you chart CM and so on...)

I'm glad I started though because this month I ovulated on CD21 so I would be going crazy this week thinking I was late if I hadn't charted my temps.

I first learned about it on here as well. At the time, anyone that I told about it thought I was absolutely crazy!

Not many (if any) people I know have heard of charting, even those I know who have TTC for a long time. I know people who've used OPKs but not temp charting. Odd huh! It's the easiest method I know to keep track of cycles!

My doctor asked me to chart three cycles and then come back. That was a year ago. Maybe I should make that appointment!
