Hi all - I'm patiently waiting for O first time after going off BCP...I had my sharpest and most apparent temp rise a couple days ago at around the same time I had weird cramps and alot of wettness (on mothers day) very noticable to me. I was like ....yes this is it finally....then today my temp plummeted again....not terriblly low but still down....could this still have been the O I've been waiting for....I know I have to give it a few days but do the temps absolutely have to stay high after the rise or do I still have hope....that's all I want is hope!

Jennifer - thanks! I actually read that exact line in "taking charge of your fertility" - BIG PICTURE! So I'm hopeful because my temp went back up a bit this morning....so it could be it. I just want to feel womanly again....my DH doesn't understand and he thinks I should be happy not to have to deal with AF - ahh men - they just don't get it!

no, they don't. It took my husband forever to figure out how I hated it, because he loved not having to worry about me having periods...then he dealt with me having to take the drugs to induce my period and now he HATES my long cycles, lol

yeah they eventually learn - I've been reading some of the book out loud to DH and I think its helping.....I guess in their eyes they can procreate any day of the week and we have only like 1 day or so a month and that is only if we actually send an eggie down the shoot - its a whole different ball game and I guess they just don't get it!
