Hi everyone. I'm new to the board and this is my first time posting. My SO and I are trying to conceive. I just recently stopped birth control (I was on Yasmin). My cycles are pretty regular but it's hard to tell when I'm ovulating. I've tried the temp route but my temps are somewhat sparatic. I think that's partly because I sleep with my mouth open. I also don't feel any specific cramps except when I'm close to my period. I'm 27 years old. Anyhow, does anyone else have cycles that are about 25 days? When do you ovulate? I've done the ovulation calculators online but I'm not sure how reliable those are. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks everyone.

Every person is different. How long are you off BC? It can take 3-18 months for cycles to regulate post bc.
I suggest reading TCOYF to elarn more about charting, or if that is not a method you are interested in, there are other methods that are CM only, like the Billings Method and I belive there is the Creighton Model also. Both of those require you to attend a class or have a one on one with a trained teacher to learn the methods.

Other things you can try are OPK's and temping vaginally.

I agree--the biggest thing is that it sometimes takes a while to come off of the hormones in BC. Some people ovulate right away, some people don't.

hi im also off bcp and i have been having a 25 day cycle. i only have been charting a short time but i o'd on day 14 last cycle and just o'd on day 13 this cycle.

I second the vaginal temping. My charts became a lot easier to read once I started taking my temp vaginally.
