Ways to learn to chart from easiest to hardest:
1. Take a charting class in person, online, or by correspondence so that a teacher can walk you through it step by step.
2. Read a book on charting (Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler, The Billings Method by Dr. Lyn Billings and Dr. Ann Westmore)
3. Take the little course on fertilityfriend.com, it will give you the basics you need to know for TTC.
4. Just start charting and learn as you go
Other good charting websites include:
www.ovusoft.com
www.nfpcharting.com (only compatible with the Billings or Creighton systems of charting)
There are lots of others, but many of them just make calculations about when you'll be fertile using average cycle length. This is inaccurate and doesn't account for early or late ovulation. Steer clear of the ones that "predict" when you will ovulate!
