I checked my cervix for the first time ever today since I'm wondering whether I'm pregnant. I did some research first bc otherwise... what would I even GET from checking the position?

According to what I read, my cervix is currently soft (felt like a lower lip) and high (I could hardly reach it at all). The discharge was watery.

I figured you ladies would be the ones to ask since you have been doing this all so long, but I don't know what this means? Any insight?

For my other symptoms / reasons why I'm curious as to whether I'm pregnant, read here- http://www.justmommies.com/boards/index.ph...owtopic=1124388

The thing about checking your cervix is that it is very relative. After six cycles, I now know that closed for me is really slightly open (because I've already delivered vaginally) and that there is a very subtle difference between soft and firm. High and low I can tell pretty easily. The way I tell firm from soft is that firm feels a lot smaller, I can actually grasp my cervix when it is firm but I can't when it is soft. The point of my long rambling - lol - is that it definitely takes more than just ONE check to understand the very slight, subtle differences of your cervix and what each one feels like.

I read your other thread and while you do seem to have some symptoms that indicate pregnancy, those can also be just regular pre-AF symptoms, ya know? Kinda hard to tell if it will go one way or the other. Do you chart your temp at all? Or know what day you ovulated? If not, I would just say keep testing until you either get a BFP or AF arrives.
