Ok I was just reading on another board something about IUD and short LPs and all sorts of stuff...actually my eyes got stuck on the part where it said this one girl was told she would need clomid to get pg bc her cycles were so short....what!?!!? Before I went onthe pill my cycles were longer, my periods were longer and now after the pill they are 25 days and my periods are 2 days long....I'm posting a link to my chart showing my last 3 cycles because I'm a worrier and I'm hoping I will be told I'm being silly and there is nothing to worry about...thank you in advance for listening to me freak out

Definitely stop worrying.

Your charts look good, clearly defined ovulation and a decent LP length. What you have to understand is the immense amount of impact artificial hormones has on one's body. It regulated everything for you, endometrial lining, start and stop of cycles, ovulation repression, etc. I'm guessing the reason your periods are so short/light now is because your body is readjusting and learning to build up that endometrial layer on its own again.

I wouldn't be surprised if it took you 6 - 8 cycles off BCP before you start to have a "normal-for-you" cycle. NO WORRYING!

Kaila, listen to Kate! Remember it can take up to 18 months for your body to regulate once it is off of BC!!

I'm with them, chick. But coming from TTCMA, I'd say if you don't feel okay with your cycles come november(based on your jan TTC start date) or so, go see a doc. I have a good one I could recommend, lol. They may tell you the same thing we will, but I know you and I know it will ease your mind.

heart you!
