My first cycle charting I O'd on CD 18 and had four positive OPKs. They stressed me out so I thought alright, it isn't like we only BD those few days so I decided not to use them for a few cycles and see how it went. Last cycle I was really sick and O'd early. It was only a 2 day difference in my cycle length so I O'd on CD 14, 15 or 16. Since I was fighting fevers it's really hard to say which day exactly. Now here I am, CD 22, no signs of O'ing in sight! I had lots of watery CM on CDs 15-18, dried up a bit, then had more of it last night. I did experience some O pains, but they were so light I hardly noticed them when they usually hurt quite a bit. I also had some abnormal cramping which sometimes causes fake O pains. We've put everything we can spare into DD's birthday party Sunday or I would've bought some OPKs last night.

So here is my question. Is it possible that I'm just going to O really, really late? I've actually been really relaxed so I would be shocked if stress were the problem I have had some 39 day cycles before, but I've long suspected those ones are annovulatory. My symptoms and even AF are very different during what should be the 2WW when I have a cycle that long. They're actually pretty much non-existent. Is it possible to ovulate only during some of your cycles?

Charting CM really helps both FF and us try to analyze your chart. Without it, we are only going off one fertility sign and it makes it a little more difficult to try and pinpoint ovulation. That being said, I think it's possible you Oed on CD20. With a few more high temps, I think you'll probably get CH for CD20.

Thanks. I do have some CM data, I just hadn't put it in. I usually have very little to observe and it's hard for me to tell the difference. I went ahead and put in what I could. CDs 19 and 21 I was pretty dry. Enough so that I felt that way which isn't normal after BD'ing. If I did O on CD 20 what do you think our chances are? I had hoped to hit every day, but DH has had to get up at 3am to get around for work and that has made it hard to work in BD'ing. If he weren't a morning person we wouldn't have hit CD 20 or today at all.

If you consider O day as CD20, then I think your best chances were CD 18 and CD20. The given lifespan of an egg is 24 hours, though the fertilization window is closer to 6 - 12 hours, so I doubt this morning's BD would result in anything.

Well, this morning would count towards fun and stress management. I really wanted to get two days before, the day of, and the day after. We have such horrible luck hitting the right days and I really didn't want to start cycle 8.

I think you've got good timing with CD18 and D20!

Well, my temp was even lower today so it looks like CD 20 is a definite no. I did have really bad O pains last night though so I'm hoping today or tomorrow will be it.

Hopefully it will sort itself out soon!

I'm crossing my fingers for day 23. That day looks good so far and you got some good bd in! I hope this is your cycle, MamaAnna.
