Hi gals!

My name is Jamie! I don't post here, but I thought I'd start.

I'm new to charting. I'm also new to TTC. DH (Eric - 25) and I have only been trying since April 2008, and we're still stuck in our 2nd cycle. I got my bbt thermometer in the middle of this cycle and had decided I'd wait to start charting until AF came. Then, AF was late - or so I thought! I ended up O'ing on CD 38 of this cycle. Well, at least I think I did. I had EWCM for CD 37 and 38 and a positive OPK on CD 37, so I'm making an educated assumption.

Anyway, my cycles had seemed pretty regular until here lately. Two cycles ago I went 41 days between, then I went 23, and now....well, I'm at 45 days and counting.

I'm really hoping to learn what I can about how my body functions and any insight or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you and becoming a charting pro myself.

Thanks girls!!

Hi, Jamie!

What form of birth control were you using prior to TTC? If it was anything hormonal (BCP, Nuvaring, Patch, etc) then I guarantee that is why your cycles seem off now. Experts say it can take six to eighteen months before your hormones level out and your cycles become normal for you.

I used Depo Provera for six years, then bcp for a year or so - but it's been over two years since we've used anything other than withdrawal as bc.
