sooo....As I have said many times..I have always had a 28 day cycle and in the past..I've always thought I had gotten pregnant on either CD12, 13, or 14..... with Hannah we only had sex on my 14th cycle day..that's it for the whole month..

so....along comes this cycle and FF says I O'don CD16 ...what?? Im so confused about my body now,I thought I had it figured out..LOL

So...can someone help me out here

If I do indeed have yet another 28 day cycle this time...would that not make my LP only 12 days in length? Is this abnormal?

A 28 day cycle does not guarantee that you'll ovulate on day 14 every time. Even the most regular women can ovulate a few days earlier or later than usual from time to time. And many women with 28 day cycles actually ovulate a few days before or after day 14 on a consistent basis, so it's not something that is set in stone.

If you only had sex on day 14 the cycle you conceived your DD, it doesn't mean you ovulated that day. If cervical mucus is present at the time of intercourse, sperm cells can live up to 5 days in a woman's body waiting for ovulation to occur. Sperm from the sex on day 14 could have caused in conception even if you ovulated on day 15, 16, 17, 18, or 19 of that cycle.

As for LP, anything between 11-16 is considered a normal LP length.
