Question about Temp

Today my temp dropped a whole degree????? It was 96.9 I didn't believe it so I took it again really quick and it was 97.3. Which should I use? Is it normal to get a big drop? I am about 7 DPO. I have a backache today like when AF is coming and feel like I have had lots of egg white CM over the last few days but only at certain times.

Julie, I had the same thing last month at 6dpo. I thought it might be an implantation dip, but I dipped later in the month and AF showed today. So, my question for you is....Was there anything odd with you prior to taking your temp? Like getting up a few hours early (I did and think that's why it dipped so far) and then taking your temp at normal time? Did you take it earlier or later than normal? Sleep deprived? Stressed? There are any number of reasons why it could have dipped. I don't want to get your hopes up - like I did - but it *could* be implantation. I hope this is it for you and that your temps go back up and stay up. Good Luck

I took my temp about 15 minutes earlier than normal. I actually slept really well last night so it is so strange. The only stress right now is wondering if I'm pregant. I saw your postings and my chart looks very similar. I wondered if it could be implantation but what I've read says it should only change by .4 so I'm trying hard not to get my hopes up. Thanks for the baby dust!
