So AF showed her ugly little face yesterday....BUT... my temp didn't drop yet. This is only my second cycle so maybe it isn't supposed to? I was having all kinds of symptoms before AF showed so I thought maybe??? but she showed up at 17 DPO. Now she is here full force but my temp even rose this morning. I slept well and temped at the right time. WTH??? Is this normal?

Does this happen to anyone else?

Your temp can rise, fall or stay the same when AF shows. As you develop more charts (hopefully not too many!) you'll start to see your own pattern.

I had first AF post BCP beg. of June at like 90+ days. My temp stayed up for a few days as AF worked her way out.....its not uncommon - even the book Taking charge of your fertility said it can do this. Now if it stays up all through AF and after - you may still be preggo - very rare but it happened to a lady in the book.

give it a few days and see what happens!

Thanks for the info. My first cycle it dropped the day before AF so I knew to expect it but this time it is different. I guess with a few more cycles (hopefully not) I will start to see a pattern.

Good luck to all

Mine would typically stay higher on day 1 of AF. The link to my FF charts is within my baby ticker if you want to have a peek.

Wow Fiona, you had lots of ups and downs. I don't know about the others, but it makes me less paranoid!
