Or who are American, but overseas(Jen!), how was your 4th of July? Do anything special???

Our fireworks were rained out...or should I say, stormed out! We're getting into a drought here though, and everyone was VERY worried about fires associate with the fireworks, so I guess it worked out. They're doing the fireworks tonight. I'm so excited because our brown crunchy yard is now getting a little green to it again!

It rained on the 3rd and the 5th, but not on the 4th! We did some fireworks with friends that was surprisingly large. I got to meet DH's best friend's wife for the first time and we got to chat about their job on the east coast and us moving out near to them, so that was fun. We also got to hang out with my family in the morning, so it was doubly cool!

It sucked. DH has had duty every day this weekend(including today), we didn't get to see fireworks because they had them out at carney park(american outdoor rec center on the far side of naples) and they issued something like 50,000 guest passes so we didn't dare brave the crowds to get there. I can't wait to go home, this is one of my favorite holidays and it has totally sucked every year we are overseas
