around 10 pm lastnight i started bleeding bright red blood and still today so i'm thinking this is my first cycle. i havnt started temping yes would it be messed up since i missed the 1st 2 days?

No, most of the charts I look at don't have the first day (or even the first couple.) There's not much chance of you Oing while bleeding, and that's what you're looking for with the temps. So missing a day while you're bleeding shouldn't matter at all.



That said. My first cycle (after the post-iud bleeding) was 42 days when I had my Mirena yanked. Just to let you know not to freak if it's a long cycle. I spent waay too much money testing that month for nothing. My second cycle was 32 days and then I regulated at 29. Some girls take longer to regulate, so be prepared for some weird months. I can't tell you anything as far as leep goes, sorry.

Thank you. i wont be testing as my SO is deployed so no chance of pregnancy lol. i'm trying to learn before he gets back

It's totally fine not to temp during AF. back when I had super long cycles(read 60 day plus) I would skip the first week to two weeks of my cycle. You can start today or tomorrow or wait until the bleeding ends. Good luck with charting. I hope your husbands deployment goes by fast, deployments SUCK!

Good for you!! Charting before you're ready to TTC is great--it's a great tool to get to know your body before you start stressing out about whether or not you're pregnant!!!
