Do you tell people you're charting? Do they look at you like you're crazy, or have they ever even heard of charting?

For the most part, none of my family and friends had ever heard of charting....so yeah, they thought I was certifiably insane. "Why don;t you just let it happen?"

We haven't told anyone that we are officially trying, just that we are thinking about it, maybe in the future. It's already Womb Watch 2008 with his grandparents, I don't need any more pressure!
I think my sister would understand, she went through several years of fertility struggles.

Only my mom and doctor know that I'm charting and they're both glad since I'm so irregular. My doctor was worried that I wasn't ovulating and my mom just knows how stressed I get wondering when AF will show.

Ya, I get that look too. They're like, "you're doing what?" and "I never had to do anything like that when I got pregnant".

The only people who know that I'm charting is my hubby and my cousin/best friend. Hubby doesn't really understand it - he's just excited about the whole process. My cousin, on the other hand, is more like "It'll happen when God wants it to" and "Why don't you just let it flow" I don't think any of my friends or family members have charted before. They're more like "Just do it and it'll happen when it'll happen"

I'd rather have some kind of idea about what is going on with my body..

No one really knows I am charting but I could definitely see getting some weird looks if I did tell people. Also, no one knows we are TTC yet either so I'm sure they'd be surprised by that too.

I'm going to try to temp on vacation next month at least on the days my husband is there because he gets up at that time to take his blood pressure medication anyways. There will be up to 10 of us there at a time so I'll probably get to see the look you're all talking about!
