I can't decide if I want to try temp next month. We're going on vacation with family for a full week so schedules will be completely abnormal. AF will probably show up while we're there either right at the beginning of the trip or halfway through. I would have to O on CD 24 or later for her to be gone until we got back. I know that missing 7 temps could really throw my chart off. Just removing a single temp during AF has completely thrown my coverline before. I also won't be able to see the drops to know what day AF is going to show. Do you think I should try to temp anyways or just take a temping break? I won't dare set an alarm while we're there since it'd wake up 6-10 people depending on the day of the week. I'll probably temp up until we leave just to have another O date, it's what to do after we leave that's the problem.

If AF shows while you are gone it may not affect you chart. I've seen some charts where people don't temp at all during AF especially if they temp vag. I've gone away a few times and though somedays I just wake up on my own at the time I usually temp or DH wakes me up to take my temp. Some days I miss completely (I take it when I wake up anyways even though I know it is not good and keep note of it)

I don't think this is all much help to you. I think what I am trying to say is don't stress and enjoy your vacation.

Thanks. I temp at 4:30am and we're going to be doing night fishing so I really doubt I'll be getting up that early. DH gets up at the same time to take his blood pressure medication, but he has to work so we'll be apart 5 days of the vacation.
