I have been posting on the am i pregnant board. This is my first month charting, although in the past I have paid attention to all my signs for ovulating except temps (cm, cp and very regular 28 day cycles). Paying attention to my body has helped me get pg the first try with my three DD's and I have used this successfully for years as birth control. This said, I had surgery early in this cycle, which I am sure caused my cycle to be off and me to O late. Tried some OPK's at the time I thought I might O (usual 14 day mark) but realized that I drink over a gallon of fluids a day (mostly water), so my urine is very dilute-the opk's won't work, so I gave them up to chart instead. Anyway, I ramble lol

I notice that fertility friend marks me as O'ing with the temp dip. I figure according to my open cervix for another 2 days after, that I could have ovulated a day or two later than they predict. I was not sure what all fertility friend took into account for deciding on your O day, so I discarded the one low temp to see what they said, and FF then changed their mind and said they could not predict ovulation, even with EWCM, open cervix and a rising temperature. So it seems that one dip is what they are going off of. Does that not seem odd? I would think you need to take the whole picture into account to figure when you O. Any of us could screw up one temp, colder room (air conditioner for me), not closing my mouth around the thermometer tightly, whatever.
I guess I am wondering with everything figured in, what do you ladies think about my O date? Could I have O'd later than my chart says? Going by FF I am 13 dpo and got a this morning with an internet cheapie. I got negative blood work on 10 dpo (qualitative yes/no blood test), and yes, I realize it was early. I keep telling myself that I am holding onto false hope, and that AF will be there everytime I head to the bathroom. I fully expect her here by tomorrow.

So I guess, what do you guys think about my chart and the prediction of O on one temp? Thanks in advance for any help, advice or for just talking. Babydust to everyone!

I think FF is going off of CD 19 because it was the last day of EWCM. That combined with the temp dip and CP is pretty solid. Your cervix doesn't have to be all the way up there and open to be ready. Taking out the temp dip would give you several nearly identical days and make it harder for FF to make a determination. Your temps are looking good so I think you still stand a chance. If implantation just occurred in the last day or two it'd be too early to get a BFP. Good luck!
