I am not activally TTC yet, I will be starting on my honeymoon, but I wanted to get into the swing of things and start temping. NOW they say you have to do it every morning, before you get up out of bed, and at the same time. I guess this could be a silly question but what if I generally get up between 7:00 & 7:30, the latest 8:00, can I still check my temp? Also, I am getting married August 2nd of this year, I have to be to get my hair done at 7 in the morning, so therefore I have to leave my house by 6 to get there in time. Can I still check my temp that early? Will it work both ways? Sorry I may sound confusing. I am going to start tomorrow.

If you use FF just adjust the time.

First off, congrats! That's my sons 2nd birthday as well. It's going to be a happy day all around!

Now, on to business! It is best if you can temp at the exact same time every day. Just a few minutes can make a difference and your temp may not shift according to the formula used by adjusters. You can always wake up, temp, and go back to sleep. I do that quite often, especially on weekends. When it comes to your wedding day I would still take your temp when you get up at 6am and enter it as usual. FF will give you an open circle to show that it was taken outside of the norm. In this instance the difference being the time. Good luck!

Your best bet is to set an alarm that goes off at the earliest time you generally have to get up. If that is 7 am, then set it for 7. If you don't need to get up, you can just go back to sleep after temping. There will always be a time or two when you have to get up earlier or something adn you can adjust your temp on FF to make it accurate.
