Would you ever consider being a surrogate? Would you turn to surrogacy before adoption?

I would consider being a surogate once I am convinced my family is complete. Otherwise, I think it would be too hard to carry a baby for 9 months and then give him/her away. AS far as considering a surogate over adoption.... if we could use our own egg/sperm then yes I would consider it but I would be very wary of who would carry my child. I do think adoption is great though....so many kids out there needing a home.

I would love to be a surrogate but with how long it's taking me to get pregnant and all the losses I've had, I doubt that would happen. (Unless we find out the reson is DH and not me, but I don't think that's likely)

As for Surrogate/adoption.....I honestly don't know. I think using a surrogate and watching someone else go through the pregnancy (with my child) that I so desperately want would probably just be to hard on me emotionally, so I'd probably just adopt. DH's brother did recently tell him that if we need it, his wife is willing to be a surrogate for us though. So I guess we'll see IF we come to that point.

I don't think I'd be able to be a surrogate. Carrying a child inside you for 9 months and going through the whole pregnancy... It would be too hard for me to give the baby away afterwards.

But I'd definitely consider surrogacy before adoption. I'd consider anything to have my little family.

I had considered being a surrogate until I was diagnosed with PCOS and endo. Now I am no longer a candidate.

We would use a surrogate if the need arose.

i have pcos, so i dont think i would be able to be a surrogate. BUT, if i didnt have health issues i would be a surrogate for someone in a heartbeat. only if my family was complete tho. it would be far too difficult to carry a pregnancy and hand the baby over to the rightful parents.

i myself have already looked into haviong a surrogate. i would choose this over adoption because i would love to have a chance at having my own biological family. if it doesnt work out, then i would turn to adoption.
