So, I just started charting this cycle. I normally go to bed between 9-10 and temp at 0430 when I have to get up for work. If I stay up late on the weekend, should I still temp at the same time or after the same amount of sleep.

Last night I went to bed at 1am, so I decided to split the difference and temp at 0630. It was right in line with my other temps so......?

Also, how much do your temps normally vary from a "baseline" before ovulation (if that makes sense)......?

From what I have been told it is more important to temp at the exact same time rather than after the same amount of sleep.
You want to get a minimum of 3 hrs sleep and temp at the same time each day.
But thats whats recommended.
So I dunno...
I'm new to charting as well hehe but this is what ive heard from other girls and also in charting instructions on websites. heh

I believe you are right. I try to temp at 630am-7am because that is my normal waking time. HTH!

Hi and !!! Hope you stick around while you're charting!!!

It is true that you need to temp at the same time everyday, with at least 3 hours of sleep, before you move, talk or get out of bed. I you don't get enough sleep, you should mark sleep deprived on your chart.

Good luck!!!
