Hey, ladies! I'm just popping in here to see if I can get some help with my chart. Sorry it's long, but any help is really appreciated!

Looking at my chart, everyone would think I O'd when FF is saying I O'd (according to my temps). But, all the other physical signs don't agree....

On CD16 (when FF says I O'd), I started having mild cramping in the evening like I get when I am O'ing. But, earlier that day and the previous days I had negative OPKs. I wish I had tested with an OPK that evening when I started having the cramping.

The next day my temp spiked (CD17) and I received a positive OPK that morning, afternoon & evening. I continued having cramping, which was stronger cramping than the previous day. Usually when I get a positive OPK I O the very next day. So, I was thinking my temp would drop the next day on CD18, but it didn't. Plus I continued to have EWCM for a couple days longer.

Going by everything but my temps, I would say that I O'd yesterday on CD18. But, there are those crazy temps that really look like I O'd on CD16.

Has anyone else ever had a cycle where they disagreed with FF, but your temps agree with FF? I don't know what to think. The thing is, I really need to know when I O'd because I have LPD and I need to know how long my LP is this cycle. My doc told me to pay very close attention to when I O, etc. I don't know when to tell her I O'd because I'm so confused. Sorry this is so long. Any thoughts on my chart would be appreciated. TIA!

I have had a chart with dotted CHs where I thought I Od the day before FF said so. I agree with FF going by your temps, but your CM has thrown me. What's your LP been like the past few cycles? What length?

When I started charting, my LP was 9 days. I started on 50mg VitB6 per day and it helped lengthen over a few months to approx 12-13days. That may be of interest to you. Anything 10 days+ is considered to be normal though.

I've been charting since last October and my LP has been 9 days every time. I've tried B6 a couple cycles and it did nothing for me. My doc put me on Prometrium (a progesterone supplement) and it increased my LP to 10 days, which my doc said was still too short. So, this cycle I'm on Clomid to give me a stronger O in hopes that it lengthens my LP. She wants me to come in on 7-9 dpo the check my progesterone levels, but I'm not gonna be able to tell her exactly how many dpo I am because I'm not sure.

I would call up and explain your chart temps say one thing but your CM says another. Let her figure it out for you. No point in your stressing if she can offer a solution. Stress is never good, but moreso when TTC!

I worried about my LP for a good few cycles but did a fair bit of research and found so many sites said the same thing, 10+ is fine. Here I am 18 weeks gone, so it must be able to sustain a pregnancy. However, I am glad your doc is helping you as much as she can! I will keep all my fingers crossed for you!

I agree with calling your doctor. Your signs just don't agree with each other. If nothing else your doctor can tell you what day to go in.

I suffer from short LP's as well...I used Clomid and Prometrium--in fact, I took Prometrium until I was 16 weeks pregnant.

I would definitely put in a call to your dr...it wouldn't hurt! As an ob/gyn nurse, that is what we are there for, to answer your calls!

Good luck!
