I went to the doctor because I diagnosed myself with a yeast infection and of course they wouldn't call me in a script I had to go in and pay my 15.00 copay for them to diagnose me with a yeast infection. Gee tell me something I didn't know. I got them enough when I was preggo with my DS so I knew I had one. Anyway they perscribed me the one day pill called Diflucan (or however it is spelled and pronounced), he ended up perscribing me 2 pills PLUS a refill, he wanted me to take one yesterday then again in 72 hours or whatever if my symptoms still were occuring. So needless to say I have a total of 4 one day pills. ANYWAY he also perscribed me prenatels because he asked if I was still on my BCP that I was on the last time I saw him, and I told him no, and he said are you TTC, I said why yes I am, so he perscribed me those along with 2 refills on those, I pick them up today. He said to me, I look forward and hope to see you back here in a couple months or less for different reasons, and wa la. That was that.

SO I guess my question to you all is, could my CM be different with this going on with me? I checked it today and it just seemed like creamy, or wet. Is that a sign I am getting closer to my fertile time and O? My 14 days will be next Monday, I sure hope my infection is gone by this weekend!!!

(sorry I tend to get into detail when I don't have to )

Changes in CM at this point could be because of the infection and medication or because you are approaching your fertile window. It'd help if you had temps that we could watch for a pattern, dip, and really see the changes in CM.

I'm a very lucky woman and have never suffered with any type of infection (urine, yeast, etc). But yes, the meds etc could have an impact on your CM and your cycle in general. Keep going with recording things though!

I hope it clears up quickly!!

When you have a yeast infection, your vaginal secretions will be almost chunky, like cottage cheese, depending on the severity of the infection. If you ever have an odor or a colored d/c, it might be an indicator of a bacterial infection. That's why your dr probably wanted to check you--you DON'T want to give the wrong medication, it will make things worse! Sometimes you can have both going on at the same time, that;s why we usually call our pt's in to be seen for stuff like that.

Hope you feel better soon!

Thank you!!! Still red. Not itchy anymore. Just read and swollen as of yesterday, I checked this evening and it looks like the redness went away a bit.
