I took an ovulation prediction test, and I had two lines. BUT the one where it was supposed to show a line or nothing it was lighter than the line where it was supposed to show that the test was working. They said that if the line where it shows the results is the same color or darker than the one line it is a positive, if it is lighter or no line it is a negative. So if I take a picture of it and post it later tonight could you all give me your input on what to record it as on FF? I don't even know if I have a good brand, I didn't have much money so I bought store brand.

If the test line is lighter than the control line then it should be a negative. Post a pic though and we can definitely let you know for sure.

Well it is a negative then. Cuz it is lighter. I looked at it again (it said to give it like 3 minutes to 10 mintues) so I gave it 10 minutes and it was for sure lighter. So should I test again tomorrow? See if it gets darker? This was my first ovulation test I have EVER taken. I am definitely wet down there and I have been for some a few days now, so it is either coming or it is going? Could I be getting a faint line if it is going? Like could I have already Oed? Am I making sense? Would I still get a faint line if I already Oed?

I tried taking a picture and for some reason I can't get a good clear picture, than my camera died. I will have to try it tonight after I charge my camera, do you ladies have any tricks to get a good picture? It comes out blury.

It says + because I thought that it was a positive. I need to go change that real quick!

Definately negative until the test line is as dark or darker... would it help you out if I post a pic of one cycle of my POKs?

Could you please?

But I have a couple questions.

Why do my temps not look right to me, they are all over the place, up down, up down and back down again? They look funny? And with my temps dropping is it still possible I can be Oing?

ALSO, would you test tomorrow again?

Is it possible with how wet I have been for it to be after I Oed? Would I still get a faint line after Oing? Do I make sense? Because I have been really wet since like Friday or something, so I thought for sure this would be Oing time? Or could it just be coming up?

Okies, I quote your post so I don't miss anything...

Of course!! What type of tests do you have? I used a few different types:
Internet Cheapies (ICs), I found it difficult to get an obvious + with these, but both 13 & 14 are close to, if not, positive:

Clearblues, the last one is +:

Chemist generic brand, 24/12, 25/12 & 28/12 all+:

Temps can fluctuate lots and lots...
Example one and two, both are my own charts. I think I was queen of uppy/downy temps

You could if you want to, but personally, I think you are about to or have just Od. If you feel the urge to peepee on OPK then go for it. Otherwise I think you know it's about to happen, so personally if it was me, I wouldn't bother.

It is possible to get a faint line after Oing, my pics above show that. Typically, your CM dries up after O, so I'm thinking you are about to or just have Od and should dry up soon.

I was going to say that maybe you should take another one tonight and see if it gets any darker. I had one that was super, super close to positive and thought it was but then that night I took another and it was darker than the control line. I agree though that it seems like you will O soon if you haven't already. Good luck!
