Baby was very stubborn!! She checked everything, it's all perfect. Baby refused to let her check the base of its spine and its tummy to see where the cord was attached !!

She sent me off to walk to 10 minutes.... came back and scanned again.... same thing!!!

She sent me off to peepee (HALLELUIAH!!!!!! OMG I was soooooooo desperate!!!!), came back and she could just see the bottom area.... just, but then baby decided to cross its leggies so she could see the tummy button haha!! Finally she got it.

DH said to me tonight... when I went to the bathroom, he waited in the u/s room for me to go back for a 3rd try at baby's spine and tummy.... he asked the girl "I know you aren't allowed to tell us, but could you see if it's a boy or girl from the scan?" She said no cos baby was too unco-operative, and had it's logs crossed. Baby wanted us to wait!!

Oh yay! Bummer you didn't get to see what you were having! I think if I get preggers I am going to find out but not tell anyone.... NOT I can't handle the secret! I tried that with my DS and it didn't work!

we decided that with our next one we are gong to have the nurse write it down and then go to lunch or dinner with friends & family and open it then so everyone finds out at once.

Thats a cute idea!! Although I still think I would want to know then! I am not one for surprises! I would want to think of a cute way to tell everyone as well. Yours is super cute. I just couldn't handle the waiting!

That's a really neat idea!! Our hospital has a "No Tell" policy so we wouldn't be able to find out anyway. We'd have to pay for a gender scan if we did want to find out. But we're both happy to wait, and by the adventures of today, our baby wants us to wait, I think!!

I know Thursday and baby will be half-baked. I've no idea where it's gone. Seems like only last week I was stood in the bathroom in my underwear crying my eyes out, shaking like a leaf, going "OMG OMG OMG OMG" with the BFP in my hand

And now look at me. I never thought I could be here, and if it wasn't for your help Sarah, I honestly don't think I would be baking this gorgeous (and active!!) baby right now. This board along with your PMs over time, has really helped me. (can you tell I'm emotional and sentimental tonight?! LOL)
