Ok ladies who temp, quick question...

When DH is home I take him to work and we usually get up between 5 and 5:30 but when he is gone I don't get up until 6:50. Will that majorly affect my temping?

I was thinking I should start temping again because of this weird cycle or whatever is going on with me right now...something about a 16 day cycle is driving me crazy! I was just starting to have continuous 26 day cycles too and then bam out of no where I start having a light flow today with some light AF cramps. UGH!

How light is the flow? Could it be O bleeding? Typically you should temp at the same time daily to be accurate... I'm the bad example of that though, on weekdays I'd temp at 7:30am, and weekends I'd temp whenever I woke which sometimes could be 10am.

Are you able to set the alarm, temp and then go back to sleep? That's what I used to do.

Thanks ladies. The flow...well is not a flow now but it was a flow up until about 4pm today. Now it is just spotting. It was heavy enough that I needed a pad. It wasn't AF color, it was more watery. Today I woke up and the pad was about half full, went to work, had to change a little more than half way through my shift (I work a 6 hour shift) and then had to change again when I got home. So I have no clue what's going on. If it is due to ovulation then that's the most bleeding I've ever had with ovulating. I usually just spot for a couple of hours when I ovulate. I've never had a clot when ovulating either. I thought I ovulated 2 or 3 days prior to the bleeding though because I definitely had ovulation pains and I usually ovulate on CD 12 or 13 from previously temping and using OPKs is how I know that. It's been that way for the last 6 or 7 months. I am suppose to go in at some point for CD 3 bloodwork since we've been TTC for a year now so I guess I'll have to wait until I get a normal AF since I have no clue if this is AF or not. I do have to add that I have been very stressed lately with my husband being on an underway for going on 5 weeks now and things changing with that (gotta love the Navy sometimes), and un-needed stress from work so I guess that could be affecting my cycle as well.

I am going to try setting the alarm, I just hope I'll be able to go back to sleep. It's hard enough falling asleep once when DH is gone let alone twice! lol I'll give it a shot though!
