Ok, first of all, I ordered the BD Basal Thermometer from Amazon. I received it and I'm very happy with the fact that it is back-lit (DH doesn't like it when I turn on the light just to look at my temp). However, I noticed this morning that it doesn't go out to the hundreth decimal (like my walgreens brand one does). I thought the idea of a basal thermometer was that it went out to the hundreth decimal and it was more accurate. The box clearly says it's a basal thermometer and that it's intended to be used for fertility charting - but it doesn't say anything about the decimal places. Am I ok to keep using this one?

Also, if someone could please interpret my chart. I kind of think I may have O'd on CD 52 based on slightly higher temps and CM, even though FF didn't give my crosshairs. Well I did have cross hairs but they were for CD 47 and then they got taken away. If I did O on CD 52, I would think I would get AF this weekend, especially seeing that my temps are going back down. It could also mean I haven't O'd at all and that would just make me so sad....I hate that my body can't be normal. I don't even care about getting pregnant so much anymore, I just wish my body would work normally. Any advice or interpretations?????

Hmmm in regards to your chart it is hard to tell. I think it will just take time to see how your chart continues to play out.

As far as your thermometer goes, I WISH my thermometer had a backlight but I would be hesitant to use just a temperature to the tenths. Hopefully other people have insight.

Am I right in thinking your thermometer goes to 2 decimal places? I.e. 97.99 for example?

If so, then it's fine.

No, the new one only goes to 1 decimal place. I don't think I can return it and I love the fact that it's backlit, but it's unfortunate that it's only 1 decimal place. At this point, it doesn't matter, I don't ovulate anyway!!!

Yeah, you definitely need one that goes out to two decimals. It makes a HUGE difference!

Good luck!
