I have temped before going to bed just randomly but nothing I keep track of or do on a regular basis.

I have wondered though... Can a BBT thermometer be used as a regular thermometer? I am just wondering if the timing is different? Why wouldn't all thermometers be BBT thermometers if they are interchangable? Anything different other than the extra decimal place?

yep. I constantly temp. I don't keep track, but I randomly take my temp all the time. I always have though...even before I started charting.
