I just started charting a few days ago, and I'm really not sure how to tell if I'm about to O. I know that if you wait to see the temp spike, it's too late, but how do I know when I'm a few days away from O-ing?

I think I may have PCOS (I'm getting an ultrasound on Halloween), and I would like to make the most of all the cycles I can.

Thanks so much in advance, Lovelies!

Depends how much info you need. You can get the basics for TTC from books - Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler or the Billings Method by Dr. Lyn Billings and Ann Westmore. Fertility Friend also has a little email course you can take. For more in depth information (such as when cycles are more complicated or if you want to use charting to TTA), it's best to take a course from a certified instructor. You can do that online, by correspondance, in a live class, or through private consultation. There are several different systems of charting, each with their own teachers and courses. Good luck!

I used both the things Shawna suggests, and would highly recommend the book Taking Chanrge of your Fertility. It's a fab read!
