Hello Ladies...

I didn't think that I would ever have to do this again, but here I am. This is my 2nd round of charting. About a year ago I did charting which resulted in a baby girl. I lost my baby girl at 27 weeks to placenta issues. I had to have a c-section so I have to at least wait 6 months before TTC. In Oct. it will be 6 months so I have started charting to see when to bd. Please look at my chart and see what you think. Why is it not showing when I ovulated. Have I not ovulated yet? I have never had a problem with ovulating at least before having my little girl. What do you all think?
Thanks for looking!

I'm so very sorry about your loss.

The link on your page only shows your weight loss ticker.

Now I can see it! Your temps don't show a thermal shift yet and there aren't enough mucus observations to evaluate. You'll have to wait to see whether today's high temp means anything, 2 more like that and you've got a thermal shift. Have you noticed feeling wet or slippery at any time this cycle? How many cycles have you had since your loss? It's normal to be irregular for awhile following a pregnancy.

I think I had my 1st period about a month since giving birth, so in May. I have had wet/slippery CM through out this months cycle. I have had some here and there this week but nothing major.

Oh ok, well the first 6 months or so after a pregnancy can be irregular - so this is still within the realm of normal. Even if you haven't had major visible mucus, the fact that you feel slippery at all is a sign that ovulation hasn't occurred yet. After ovulation the CM should dry up so that there is no more slipperiness.

Hi Melissa

I'm very sorry to read of your loss

Welcome to the charting board. The only advice I can offer on top of what Shawna has commented, is that you mark your CM as much as you can on your chart. I hope you keep posting with us so we can travel your TTC journey with you

Fiona~~
Thanks for the welcome. I joine JM about a year ago when we decided to try for another child. Once I experienced my loss I couldn't come here anymore because it was killing me. I cancelled my account to keep from lurking around. Now I am here again and ready to move forward in my life. I know that is what my little girl would have wanted.

Now my temp went way up again, so check out my chart again.

Not that I've been in your situation with your loss, but I can understand why you took a step back from the site. I did it too whilst struggling with TTC. But I'm glad you came back

I'm thinking with the no CM and if you get another higher temp tmor. FF might mark you as having Od. I hope so!

Is your CM gone?

Some what gone? Have you noticed a drastic change from being very wet and slippery, to being much drier down there?

The lines mean FF has detected a thermal shift and based on temps alone, it's estimating that ovulation occurred around CD19. The lines are dotted because it's unsure, probably due to the lack of CM data. If it's sure, the lines are solid red.

I am definitely not dry in that area, it is still wet. The wet is more like water not creamy. WOW....way TMI!! )

Thanks for everyones help. I will definitely do better on charting next month. I just assumed that temping is all FF needed.

Oh chickie... nothing is TMI for us here at Jms

If you're still wet, then you are most likely still fertile. I can only say... try to mark all CM you notice on your chart, mark it as the most fertile... i.e. if you are EW in the morning, but sticky in the afternoon, mark it as EW.
