So I have been using OPK's since CD7. It got darker yesterday [not dark enough for positive tho] now today its back to WAY faint. Could my body have been wanting to O but then decided not to or is it common for it to fade out before you get a positive? ]: I'm so scared I'm not Oing

ETA: I also had a little temp drop this morning.

It's normal for the LH's level to fluctuate. Sometimes, the LH surge happens so fast that if you're only testing once a day, you can miss it. So if you get a dark one, try testing again later in the day to see if it's positive.

A temp dip isn't a conclusive sign of anything, a complete thermal shift is all that's relevant for confirming ovulation.

When in doubt, you can always refer to your CM. If you're still observing wet or slippery mucus, you're still waiting for ovulation. When the mucus dries up, you should start seeing your temps rise within a few days (sometimes temps take an extra day or two to rise after ovulation).

The only way to know if you're not ovulating is to chart several cycles in a row. If neither mucus nor temps confirm ovulation, then it's time to see a doctor.
