Try not to get hung up on identifying ovulation to the *exact* day. Charting, even with mucus, temps, and OPK's, is only an estimate. It's a very good estimate because it narrows it down to the window during which ovulation occurred, but it can be +/- 2 days off. The only way to know the *exact* day is to have daily transvaginal ultrasounds.
Research on ovulation showed that ovulation usually occurs on the last day of slippery mucus, sometimes the day after, and sometimes up to two days after. Temperature rises after that, but it's not exact either because it can take an extra day or two to rise after ovulation and it's also more affected by outside variables (house temperature, consumption of alcohol, mouth breathing, etc). OPK's rise 12-36 hours before ovulation. So put all of that together and we can conclude that you ovulated around the time FF says you did, maybe a little later - but the exact day doesn't really matter.
