I don't know what is going on with my temps. Could someone please stalk me and help me figure out what is going on. Last cycle I talked with my Dr. and they had me come in and have my progesterone drawln on CD21. They came back that I was "low-normal" they prescribed me progesterone suppositories to be taken from the day that I O till AF comes.
This is my 10th cycle of trying but I have been off of BC for a year and 8 months.

It's not uncommon to have a temp dip before your rise after O. This may be the case with you this cycle. There's not much I can say other than see what the temps over the next few days are like. Y
What does the MON mean on your chart? Whatever it is, it's indicating you are fertile?

It's the fertility monitor. WHich I have used for the last three cycles and it has never given me a peak reading. That's why I had the progesterone levels drawn last month and they came back "low- normal". Thank you for looking at it. Maybe I will have more to show in the coming days with my temps. I don't think that yesterday was an ovulation but I could be wrong.

I'm still learning about charting myself, so i wouldn't be much use on interpreting your chart. It can be so upsetting while TTC, I hope you feel better and get your BFP soon

Ahh I see now, thanks for explaining that for me! Try to mark down on your chart what type of CM you are having per day as well. Your temp is on the way back up so hopefully it keeps rising!

My CM doesn't follow the normal rules so i decided not to check it this month. I rarely get the Eggwhite and when I do it isn't during my ovulation. I decided to call the Dr. today and asked them if I could send my charting to them for them to review. The only problem is that they have told me to keep trying until November and then they are going to schedule me for a laproscopy.

Any chance the BC you were on was Depo? If not, what was it and how long were you on it?

Unfortunately, the CM thing is not uncommon following long term hormonal BC. It shrivels up the crypts in the cervix that produce good quality CM. Because the cervix is such a delicate organ, this effect can take the longest to heal - even long after you're ovulating regularly again (judging by your temps from the previous cycles, it looks like you are). The good news is that the damage to your cervix usually isn't permanent, the bad news is that it can take up to 3 years to heal.
Sometimes there isn't enough mucus to see EWCM, but if you ever notice feelings of wetness or lubrication - that's enough for conception! If you don't ever notice feelings of wetness or lubrication, then you should have your CM investigated. Without the good quality CM, sperm can't survive in the acidic environment of the vagina long enough for conception to occur. You may want to ask for a Huhnar's or post-coital test. That's when they collect a sample of your CM after intercourse, to see how well the sperm cells swim in it. That's how they find out if your CM is the problem.

Thank you so much. You have been a wealth on knowledge. It's very comforting to have some sound advice for once. Is is possible that some people don't ever get back to normal on their CM? Does Pre-seed help that much? Is there anything that I can take or do to help the CM?

Not sure how good it is, but I know of girls who took Oil of Evening Primrose to help increase CM - Shawna may be able to offer other advice though!

PreSeed can help, yes. You can also try B vitamins (they are mucus enhancers), and some specialists actually use penecillin based antibiotic treatments. Penecillin is also a mucus enhancer. I don't know if regular OB/Gyn's do that, mostly specialists associated with Natural Procreative Technology (NaPro). They are all about solving reproductive problems right at the source so you can conceive naturally, rather than trying to over-ride the problem with fertility drugs which is a common strategy these days.
You can probably try some of that on your own, but if you're still trying after the 1 year mark - do get your CM investigated!
