Hi everyone,

I am totally new to fertility charting. I am so overwhelmed, I don't know where to start. Two nights ago I had a moderately dark line on my O test, DH and I took advantage that night and again last night. Tonight I did another O test and the line is not almost gone...what the heck does that mean?!?!

I guess I just need a basic idea on how do properly chart...any advice would be great!

That's great!! Your OPK (ovulation test) will be negative from AF until the build up to O, then + to indicate you're about to O, when you get a + typically O happens with the next 72 hours... then the OPK will be negative again because the surge is past. Hope that makes sense?

Sounds like you got all your BDing at the correct time! How is your CM? I'm guessing you were slippery/fertile and now you've dried up?

That's great!!! An OPK will be positive when the test line is darker than the control line. Then you know you will most likely ovulate in the next 24-48 hours.

Welcome and please don't hesitate to ask away!

Most of the girls here use Fertility Friend to chart...I think the program is great!

CM was slippery...let's hope for the best! When can I do a pregnancy test? I have a very irregular cycle and it's hard to tell when I should/will get my period.

I am in the process of making one but my cycle is irregular so it's hard to track.

How long has it been since you ovulated? The "books" recommend that you wait to test until you're 14 days past o (DPO), but a lot of girls can't wait that long, and test around 10 dpo.

Good luck!

I am not sure how long it's been since I ovulated. I am in the process of making a fertility cart on fertility friend. Once it's done, how do I post it on here? I'd like you all to take a look at it.
