I know this is a little of topic. I got pregnant with my 17 month old son in september 2006. THe month before that I think I had a 9/10 day Luteal phase. I noticed that last year my luteal phase was 9 days the month before I got pregnant again. I think that my last cycle was 10 days as well. ( I stupidly deleted the chart. ) Does that mean that my luteal phase is about 9-10. I am just curious. At least to this point it hasn't affected my ability to get pregnant.

You probably need a few more charts to give an average LP.

Mine was about 10 days, and I had to take progesterone to keep the pregnancy.

Mine is 9-10 days. And when the time comes to ttc I am going to ask my dr about clomid to lengthen it.

How do you figure out how long your luteal phase is?

Thanks,
Tammy

That just means your LP used to be 9/10, but it doesn't mean it will be that way now. Lots of factors can affect your LP length - being post partum, breastfeeding, age, overall health, medications, etc. Give it a few more cycles of observation to see what your LP is now. It should remain fairly consistent (unless you're nursing or recovering from a hormonal contraceptive).

Mine is 7-8 days off clomid, 14 on clomid, 10-12 in the months following clomid.
