Please tell me that this morning's temp is totally inaccurate and should just be ignored completely. I temped 2 hours later than normal Apparently I turned of the first alarm without temping. Though the memory had 97.3 stored, so is it possible that I did temp and forgot that I did it? Anyway, I checked the memory didn't remember that temp, so I temped at 6 and it's 98.2! This has to be a fluke! We've all been sick and so we haven't DTD since Monday. (OH, and temp adjusters only adjust it down to 97.8)

I know you all can't really say one way or another if it's a fluke or whatever, so I guess I'm not even really asking for a response. I just needed to whine about it.

I'm not be best person to comment on temps as i'm still learning, but i thought it was v. important to temp at the same time every day? Maybe it is thrown out because it was taken two hours later than normal.

I've temped a few hour later on the weekends by accident and it has only thrown my temp off by maybe .2 - .3. I would think by tomorrow morning you should have your answer. Sorry I can't be of more help!

It is very important to temp at the same time every day and I know that (I've been charting for over 1.5 years) so I can't believe that I did this. I even said while waiting for the thermometer to do it's thing "I shouldn't temp now. It's too late...not accurate. I should turn it off and just wait until tomorrow." Now I'm kicking myself for not temping on time. For going through with temping late, and because I didn't force the issue and make DH BD yesterday!

Ugh! I am so sick of TTC!

That's actually what I am afraid of. I think more than anything I am frustrated with my OPK's If I did O, there was some chance since we did BD some (and I'm going to attack DH in a few minutes now that the kids are gone.....just in case! ) The thing is...if my OPK's aren't giving me a + I'm going to be really upset. I didn't get a positive even though I knew I had O'd the last few cycles but I thought it ws just the brand. Now IDK....Just getting really frustrated and ready to be done TTC. After 31 cycles.....my sanity is stretched thin.

You did the right thing by marking it inaccurate, or using the temp corrector. It is important to only temp after 3 hrs of unbroken sleep and at the same time each day.

However, I temp'd for a year and half, my temping time was 7am, but on the weekends I would sleep in and temp later without the temp corrector

Best advice woul dbe to see hwat your temp is like tmor. And perhaps BD just incase!!

I did BD this morning, but I'm pretty sure I have ovulated now. It really upsets me because for some reason after my miscarriage in August of 2007 my body completely freaking changed. I used to have no problem with OPK's, but I don't think I've had a true positive since that cycle. (On any brand) And of course it had to happen when we've been sick and missed two days of BDing. I took an OPK today and the line was practically gone. Just like usually happens after O. I'm going to do another OPK in just a bit to be sure, and then see what my temp does in the morning, but I'm pretty sure I did O already.

In one way it is a good thing. It means the Clomid did what we wanted it to do. Now I just have to hope that the little BDing I did get done was good enough. (Though I highly doubt it).
