This has been really annoying! Lately (like everyday for the past week+), I've been waking up an hour or two before I usually temp. I usually temp at 6am (although will go to 6:30 this cycle). But I've been waking up at like 4:30 or 5am, and of course I have to check the time, because if it's 1am I will go to the bathroom if I have to. But if it's less than 3 hours before temping time I won't get up.

So I've been taking the temp at that earlier time, and then again when I wake up at 6. But that means at 6 now I haven't gotten 3 hours of sleep. I'm usually only away for 5-10 mins at this earlier time, and I don't get out of bed, so do you think it has that much of an affect? Should I use the 6am temp because it's the right time, or the earlier one because I've had complete undisturbed hours of sleep? Even though now it's an hour or two different in normal time?

Why can't I just sleep until 6am? lol

I would def. use the 6 am temp. Being awake but not up or moving around alot is NOT going to affect your temps. I am up several times a night actually out of bed and walking around but my temps are still pretty consistent to the ones i take after a full 8 hours of uninterupted sleep.

It's difficult one. They recommend 3 consecutive hours of sleep befre temping. But that said, you can't help that you've woken up early. Only thing I can suggest is recored the temps and see how you go over the next week or so to see if things settle down again.

At least record them and make a note. Hugs! Hope you're able to sleep longer soon!

Good luck!
